I have to concur with the majority who reject an elaborate conspiracy theory. However, the Twin Towers were in the category of an ‘attractive nuisance’–that is, something which widely attracted the interest of assorted vandals to bring it down. It was well-known to be highly insecure. Nor was this the first attempt. So why should we this time justify the Big Reaction? Wasn’t the first attempt exactly the same except in the result? They pulled a spectacle and the American Sucker bought–bigtime!
What about Lockerbie? Nine-eleven was only ten times worse– but did we expect the British to drop the Big One because of it?
Besides which, like the ‘Soccer Mom’ and ‘Reagan Democrats’ of an earlier decade, the ’security minded voters’ postulated by the media ought to lie down and die. Don’t they just love their little Gremlin Miss Katie Koric(t)? What number is it virgins Al Quedda wants: seventy-six? Let them have the vestal virgins of the Republican party, the Kourics and the Coulters: that’s two right there. Negotiate: this is what you do. Man you know that they’re the Squares!
A more sober reaction than going into Afganistan let alone Iraq would have been to boot Shrub out of the White House.

Why does everybody who thinks there was a bomb in the building automatically assume it was the government that put it there?

Have you ever even considered that if there was a bomb in the building the terrorists could have put it there?

We know, after all, from the cell phone calls of frightened passengers that guys with weapons were able to get on to 4 different commercial (not government run) airlines when there is just about a 20 minute window of getting on a plane, through one door, and only about a hundred people let on –

now compare that to the World Trade Center with multiple entrances, and thousands of people walking in and out all day long….can’t you at least be open minded enough to consider the possibility?

Up to 82% of Americans believe that the alleged ‘terrorist attacks’ of 9/11 were a false flag event designed to psychologically brainwash the population into believing we are being threatened by some gigantic network of Arab terrorists that are coming here to kill us. All it was intended to do, it did. It got Bush the support he needed to start this useless, 8.4 Billion dollar a month war so him and his PNAC crime pals could advance their agenda, which has nothing to do with democracy and freedom and everything to do with global domination through military superiority and control of the worlds oil. Don’t believe what the liars who run this country tell you, do some research and if your honest and open minded, which is asking a lot from conservative fascists, you can’t help but see the truth.And for gods sake, come up with a better source for debunking material than Popular Mechanics! These are the same guys who will sell you plans for your very own alien spaceship you can build in your garage. 82% of Americans, people, c’mon, catch up!

Answer me this. How come some of your tags say Brenda, but when I go to the list of questions being asked, the same question says "asker Lisa" can't keep all your accounts straight. Its sad you ask a question then answer it with one of your other names. Does nothing for your credibility just like your questions.

I think the problem lies with the media. The media has easily ruled out the possibility that the government had anything to do with it, and that thinking has plagued the rest of minds that believe them.

A very good detective doesn’t simply rule out suspects based on lack of evidence. The mere fact that the 9/11 crime was covered up by government efforts…that alone should make any reasonable mind to suspect the government was involved.

Since you are obviously very upset, I was hoping to calm you down a bit.

No way of contacting you, so I would like to know how you became Top Contributer.

Notice I am not going along with all the rest, because I have an open mind, and I spent most of my life in New York City.

We have limited facts, an internet in abundance of suggestions, and no conclusions.

All we can do is speculate at this time.

Whomever is responsible should be brought before our legal system, and then hung to dry on public display, because a huge crime was committed on 911.
