He couldn’t have said it any better.
The book I am currently reading Human Race Get Off Your Knees (The Lion Sleeps No More) by David Icke mentions George Orwell quite frequently. He states how his book 1984 (published in 1948) predicts the the current (and future) events that are bound to take place in America and eventually, all over the world.
A common theme in 1984 is mass and individual mind control through the manipulation of language. An example that we see on the news would be the death toll concerning the wars currently taking place. Instead of saying ‘civilian casualties’ or ‘dead people’ we see and hear the words ‘collateral damage’, by using that term, it separates viewers from feeling a connection or sympathy for the loss of lives.
Another example of language manipulation can be seen in the Obama’s 2008 Presidential campaign. After Bush’s (excuse my language) shitty terms, the economy was horrible, people were unsatisfied…people were looking for change. "Change" and "Hope" became Obama’s campaign slogan.
Many young people (like myself) felt this sense of hope . Hope for our future, hope for our economy, and hope for America itself.
What everyone seemed to ignore was what he [Obama] meant by "Hope" and "Change"…Hope for what? What exactly was going to change?
From the research that I’ve done, I can’t help but notice the similarities between Obama’s and Hitler’s political campaigns. Nazism and Communism also dubbed the slogan ‘Change’.

I’ve never really cared too much for politics because of one factor: despite the different names (Democrats and Republicans) and despite who ‘wins’ they are all a part of a bigger picture, the same picture.

Ma i giorni dell’ anonimato sono ormai terminati. David Icke ha fatto luce sul popolo delle ombre ed ha messo fine a quella segretezza così essenziale al loro successo.

Lately, I’ve been preoccupied with "The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy (and how to end it)" and one theme of the book, that I feel is very significant (and very true) is: Conformity = Control
By conforming to what the media (i.e. the news, newspapers, songs, television shows, advertisements, etc.) say you are allowing yourself to be controlled.
I’ll make this as concise as possible.
Don’t believe everything you are tolded, don’t believe everything you hear or see.
As they say, every story has two sides; and this (incredible) book is the other side of events like 9/11, political assassinations, their agenda for the human population, etc.
If you love to read, you must add this onto your "to-do" list
You won’t regret it!
