Well, conspiracy is more than one person planning something detrimental to another person, place or thing, together. And I do not know of any corporation that does not have meetings in order for it to plan it’s plans. Then there are all the impromptu meetings that bunches of old ladies, retired old men, and any old support group in town, do together off the record. At what point does planning become a conspiracy? When then devise to kill someone, sure, we know that’s a conspiracy. But what about all the other kinds of group plannings that members are not even aware are going to ruin someone else’s life, or business, or fence, whatever. So, I think lots of conspiracies are real.
What conspiracy am I sure really does exist? The one that Sigmund Freud planned with Jung and the other cronies of his, Psychology. It was designed to destroy and replace Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It has made amazing inroads into both Christianity (of almost every type) and Judaism too. It has not succeeded nearly as well against Islam but that should be rectified soon now that we have all taken on Iraq and those Muslims in the UK and USA (where Psychology has replaced Christianity as the national faith.) Freud wrote out his plan for all to see long ago. It is his book called "The Future of an Illusion" by Sigmund Freud. Now it was so specific that various books have been published since then using the same title. But the original says it all, in Freud’s own words.

Kennedy assassination. Our government was involved. Google JFK II and watch it. It is long and gives you the truth. I remember all of it including how things changed on the second day. I stood on Dealie Plaza and the shot that blew out JFK's brain, came from the grassy knoll. And check out what's left of the Zapruder film. . .That was the day I truly lost my innocence. . .

The assassinations of JFK and MLK . I believe the general knowledge is not what transpired. I think two blamed took the fall. I do not put stock in conspiracy theory as a rule of thumb , but there are too many archives filled with info/proof ; and actually no motive for the two who got the blame.

I think ALL conspiracy theories have their roots in fact. They may not be the (total) truth...but they certainly offer other concrete possibilities. I'm a firm believer that nothing is what it seems on the surface, or at first glance.

No, I don’t think conspiracy theories are a good thing, nor that they keep a healthy dose of cynicism to keep complacency at bay. It’s more a matter of what you saw for yourself when it happened, and there’s no such thing as a healthy dose of cynicism. Complacency, apathy and cynicism are huge wastes of energy.

I believe there is truth in the theory that the government conspires to deprive Americans of their right to bear arms. It's a good thing to keep all of the honest law abiding citizens on their toes and ready to fight those who would make us outlaws because we own shotguns, rifles and pistols.

I'm pretty cynical about all these conspiracy theories. I prefer to see facts, rather than myths. Several of my relatives believe in conspiracy theories and they send me around the twist with their silly stories.
